Grand Ensemble Koa

BEAT

A large group with atypical instrumentation and an explosive character, the Grand Ensemble Koa offers a music that mixes jazz & rock, pop & contemporary music, electric & acoustic, improvisation & writing.
In its latest creation, "BEAT", the Montpellier-based jazz ensemble follows in the footsteps of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs, three major poets of the beat generation. In this third album, the 8 virtuosos set to music the texts of these non-conformist poets, carried by the luminous voice of Caroline Sentis.
