Sandra Cipolat & Guests is a co-production between the Centre National de la Musique, Taller de Músics, and Collectif Koa, where the singer and pianist develops her second project. Sandra Cipolat (vocals, keyboards) is joined on stage by two Barcelona-based artists:
-
Abraham Lojo, flamenco guitarist with a fiery touch
-
Nicolás Andino, talented beatmaker and trumpeter
This new repertoire dives into primal instincts, visceral emotions, and the impulses that shape us. It explores what connects all living beings beyond consciousness: instinct, vulnerability, rage, and tenderness. It is an introspective journey connecting us to sensations and states of mind, moving away from the social and relational aspects explored in her first EP HUMAN. The project continues the quest for emancipation and freedom, blending jazz, NuSoul, contemporary, and experimental music. It explores new sonic liberties to create a hybrid sound, at the crossroads of influences such as Anomalie, Jacob Collier, Erykah Badu, and Robert Glasper.
